Glad it\'s useful!Yes, foiscung will work with in-camera metering. As you might guess, if you\'re using spot or center-weighted metering mode and you move your focal point around the frame, the center of the metering will follow. So the point where you\'re foiscung will be used as the center of the spot.Exposure lock can be used much like the half-press shutter\' technique for foiscung is used. So you might point your camera and fill the frame with a scene you want exposed correctly (say your subject\'s faces), press the shutter to allow the camera to set the exposure (it will also set focus but don\'t worry about that), then use the exposure lock button to lock that exposure. You can then let go of the shutter without losing the exposure value, and reframe the shot to capture a full body photo, but you\'ll have the correct exposure for their faces. This is useful is the reframed shot might include bright lights for example that wouldn\'t give your camera the right exposure for a full body photo.
